Tango Parrilla Book: lead sheets for 150 classic tangos
A collection of 150 pieces for playing tango ‘a la parrilla’.
Inspired by other books of tango lead-sheets, this approach includes several novel considerations in formatting. The main consideration is defaulting (whenever possible) to reflect the musical phrase within the staff layout. Though this sometimes visually compresses the notation, it makes it extremely clear what the phrase is!
It will also be updated once a year, to account for various corrections and suggestions, as well as new pieces. If you find a wrong note, chord, key, or spelling (or if you have a request for a specific piece) please get in touch!
